2014 Sailing Desires, Artists' Talk (Giorgio Garippa and Oliver Palmer), The National Maritime Museum, London * - Giorgio Garippa and I were asked to give a presentation about a project proposal we wrote together for the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford. The presentation covered both the project and the topic of artists' interventions in to museums and theories of interpretation. We gave the presentation to an audience of MA Gallery and Museum Studies students from Kingston University, the Head of MA Contemporary Heritage at Kingston, the Senior Interpretation Curator of the National Maritime Museum and the Head of Formal Learning at the museum. War and the Body, Blackall Studios, London * – I spoke for cameras and an audience about a collaborative art work Giorgio Garippa and I were showing in the exhibition War and the Body. The presentation and exhibition were organised by the War and Media Network and Beers.Lambert Contemporary Art and was funded by City University London. The exhibition grew out of collaborative work between artists and academics in the MARS Project and ran in conjunction with the War and the Body Conference at the Imperial War Museum.
